- Open your browser and find the website – Find the web browser on your computer. Go the search tab and type in Airtel Payments Bank. The first non-ad link would be the Airtel Payments Bank website. This website will help you make your electricity bill online payment. This website can be used for lots of other payments as well – DTH recharge, prepaid or FASTag recharge, broadband, postpaid or water bills among others. You can even exchange money with your peers. Now let us move forward with the next steps.
- Click on the ‘Electricity Bill’ tab – You will find a menu on the top. There will be options like ‘Prepaid’, ‘Postpaid’, ‘FASTag’ and others. The sixth option would be ‘Electricity Bill’. You need to click on that. As soon as you do so, the page will change. You will get the necessary options to fetch your bill.
- Fill the details on the left – You will find a column on the left that says “Pay Electricity Bill”. Just below this, you will find the option to select your State / Union Territory. Please select the right option from that list. For instance, if you stay in Mumbai or Pune, click on Maharashtra. If you are from Delhi, you need to choose Delhi. Make sure that you select the right option. As soon as you select the right option, another option will pop up asking for the biller. Select the correct one. You would again be prompted to enter your customer/subscriber/identification number. Fill in the number and then click on ‘Fetch Bill’.
This will help you fetch the bill. If you are not logged in, you would be prompted to do so. Logging in will also help you to earn cashback. If you do not have an account with Airtel Payments Bank, you need to click on the ‘Register Now’ option. It will be present on the ‘Log In’ prompt. You would be required to fill some details and that’s all.
